Well I've seen people asking around the internet and it's happened to me already so having a thread here may help someone from the other corner of the world or even my neighbor.

Anyway, try holding the power button down for 10 seconds and the device should reset.

Note that you may have ran out of battery! So you should plugin in the charger and hold down the power button for 10 seconds.

I've spent some hours today developing a plugin for us called "Interactive".

The Quick Chat is similar to the shoutbox but now your shouts are posts, that is, they're real posts - and they're posted here. This means that you can discuss whatever (no pornography or piracy) you want there but of course if it deserves a place in a different thread, you should post it in the right place instead.

The Quick Thread functionality allows you to easily create new threads in certain forums.

The Your Threads box displays the the latest 5 threads created by yourself.

The rest is self explanatory I guess. What are your thoughts on this?

Due the lack of activity on the home page, I was thinking perhaps we could remove it altogether and have the forums moved to consoleaddicted.com instead of forums.consoleaddicted.com (you'd be redirected if you went to the latter).

What do you think? I think it wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

How do I get my XBOX LIVE account to show up in the list on the XBL Board page on this site? I changed my gamertag recently on XBOX LIVE, I did updated it on the "Edit profile" page here on CA today, but it still won't show up there. I just found out about the page today and I really like the feature, but it doesn't show my gamertag atm.

Do I have to wait a while for it to show up or what?

Screen went black and computer hanged

I'm not really sure what happened but I coding something this afternoon and suddenly (fortunately 3 seconds after I hit Ctrl + S which saved my progress) the screen went black and the computer hanged.
By that I mean, I couldn't do anything at all to make it react. The HD access led was always off despite anything I had tried. So I had to force a shut down.

I'm running an AV scan right now. Has this ever happened to you?

if you have steam (and i know most people do now a days) and have purchased your copy of skyrim on it you are elegable to try install and play the beta update to Skyrim. i'm installing it now to see what all there is to offer. i do remember there being a statement about moding tools comeing with the 1.4 update. lets see.

update: all and all it isn't bad. a few video bugs when it comes to the 12.1 update with ati gfx drivers. that and. i havn't ran into a dragon the whole time i've been playing (wonder if my epic archery skills scared them away)

Resident Evil 6 - six players co-op?

It's been a long time since I've posted something new here, sorry for that!

Here's a game series I've never played and I'm not sure why but perhaps #6 will be my first try.

According to CVG, the official game page at Xbox.com Marketplace previously stated "Online co-op 2-6" hinting that the recently announced game will feature a co-operation mode supporting up to 6 players. Click the image below to enlarge.

The game should be released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 20 of the current year and a PC version should be released after that.

MegaUpload closed and now it's time for FileSonic

As you know, MegaUpload was taken down due to piracy laws violations.

To prevent closure, FileSonic decided to suspend file sharing over the internet (including its affiliation program) which means you can only upload and download your own files.

What do you think of this?

i got bored of my ipod being jailbroken. so i restored it back to default and got to keeping the 1 thing i jailbroke it for int he 1st place. battery stats. yup i just wanted to know what % my battery was at and in the process of breaking the software and restoring it i got to keeping it. w00t.
